Morgan Hill is embracing his new life in Huxley Iowa when he is asked to return to a life he had hoped to leave behind. It had been a little over a year since he completed an assignment as part of “Operation Jigsaw”, a U.S. led multinational operation that was designed to exploit a weakening Assad regime in Syria. Who would have known that destabilizing Syria would lead to the birth of ISIS and a new terror threat the world was not ready for. In desperation, world leaders are scrambling to prevent weapons of mass destruction from falling into the wrong hands. Morgan is pressed by the U.S. government to assume his previous covert identity, forcing him to confront the dark nature of his past choices and challenging his preconceived notions of heroes and villains. He is faced with complex circumstances that pose philosophical questions about whether the end justifies the means and if morality is a fixed concept or one that shifts with the stakes.
